Is there an easy way for windows users?

Because I use pyLoad on QNAP I found an article on their wiki:

Re: Webinterface SSL

are you able to connect to your nas using ssh, e.g with putty?

if so you just have to connect to your nas an run this commands one by one:

cd ~/.pyLoad (or if you changed it during setup, cd /to/pyload/path)
openssl genrsa 1024 > ssl.key
openssl req -new -key ssl.key -out ssl.csr
openssl req -days 36500 -x509 -key ssl.key -in ssl.csr > ssl.crt

Re: Webinterface SSL

Do you try to generate the key with windows?

try this:

OpenSSL req -new -key digitss.key -out digitss.csr -config openssl.cnf

be sure that the cnf file is in the same directry

Re: Webinterface SSL

Thx for the support. I have generated the files now the the windows port of openssl. As described in the 3rd post.
After that I uploaded the files with WinSCP to the NAS.
